El Puente's Student Interns

In the fall of 2004, El Puente was joined by two interns from San Diego State University. That was the first time El Puente had college interns working for the project. The Summer semester of 2009 is now the sixth semester that interns have worked with El Puente. Read more about them below.

 

Jennifer Aparicio is a senior at San Diego State University majoring in International Business with an emphasis in French and Western Europe. She recently fulfilled one of her greatest dreams and spent six months in France studying at one of Paris’ top business schools. She will be helping with the event planning and marketing at El Puente.

Gabriel Jimenez is a graduating senior from San Diego State University with an International Business major, having transferred from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California as an exchange student under the MEXUS program, where he will receive a dual degree from both Universities. He will be a part of the scholarship fund raising efforts as well as looking for events to submit to the El Puente calendar.

Jorge Osornio is from San Diego, he is majoring in Computer Information Systems at Southwestern College. He has a web Flash designer certificate and is working towards the web designer and developer certificate at SWC. Jorge will be updating the calendar page for El Puente and also will be helping in the new design of the site.

Jaime García is from Tijuana and is studying at Southwestern College. His major is Computer Information Systems and he as various web design skills. Jaime has worked in various jobs such as maintenance, cooking, janitoring, and preparation of banquets. He is now updating the El Puente website and performing other web related activities for El Puente.
