El Puente Arts centers its efforts on the development and collectivizing of Intergenerational Artists in growing in their mastery as Professional Artists and Cultural Organizers. Our Artists are not only trained to create skillful Art, but are grown in their capacities and skills to use their Art to educate around, inspire connection and directly support the efforts of Social Justice Movements, campaigns and initiatives aligned with El Puente mission and “Action Platform for Collective Self Determination. They are guided in their Arts Development through our Global Justice Institute frameworks of the Creative Justice Approach, Transformative Community Building and Principled Leadership for Liberation.
At El Puente we fight for the Self-Determination & Liberation of all Oppressed Peoples in relation to policing/public safety, housing, climate, food, economics, education, and gender, sexuality, racial and migrant equity.
We know The Arts is a powerful organizing tool because The Arts organizes our people by creating opportunities to be inspired and nurtured to make change through COMMUNITY, EDUCATION & HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT & HEALING.

We have designed this space for those who are mid-level in their Arts and Social Justice careers/paths, though welcome any artists who are seeking to build in cohort and community working to be responsive to the times we are living in where injustice is being even greater systematized and our communities are being further threatened.
